Bichectomy

Bichectomy (known as cheek thinning) is removal of adipose tissues of the chick. Generally, it is an ideal operation for people who have a round face structure to clarify their facial features. The operation is performed form oral cavity, using general or local anesthesia. The stitches used can then melt spontaneously in the mouth. The patient is discharged daily.

In the first weeks of the operation, swelling may occur in the face area caused by edema. It may take up to 3 months for the cheeks to take their final shape. Bishectomy operation is permanent and is not affected by weight gain.
