Filling and Botox are two different applications that are mixed between the public. Their usage patterns, areas and situations are quite different, and they can be applied as combined application.

Filling is a method used in facial collapses over time, areas that have lost their fullness, or wrinkles that have not been interfered with botox in time. In patients who have had aesthetic nose surgery, combined application can also be performed to complete the appearance. For example, it can be used to correct the rate with other facial organs such as the chin, lips, eyes after surgery.

The filling has durability between 6-12 months depending on the area of application, quantity and quality of the filling and personal factors.

Botox is a substance produced from toxins of the clostridium botulinum bacteria. Its basic mechanism is based on blocking the stimuli that cause the muscles to contract. However, this blockage is temporary.

Botox is used for aesthetic purposes in wrinkles in the face and neck area, besides, it can also be used in treatment conditions such as tooth tightening, excessive sweating, facial asymmetries, overactive bladder or migraine. If facial and neck wrinkles are interfered with botox in a timely manner, the need for filling, which may occur over time, is delayed.

Topical cream for anesthesia is applied to the area before application. With a very fine needle, injection is made to the application points at the specified dose. The application takes 10-15 minutes and the patient can return to social life on the same day. Swelling and bruising are not expected in the application area, but sometimes bruising may rarely develop. Its effect can be seen in 3-4 days, but it may take 10-14 days for the effect to occur fully. The effect of botox gradually decreases in muscle groups over time and ends in an average of 4-6 months.

It can be used with the filling in cases where Botox does not eliminate deepened wrinkles. It corrects superficial wrinkles, additionally, the aging effect can be delayed when done without deepening.

Massage is not recommended after application. It is not recommended to lie on your back for the first 4 hours and to take a hot shower in the first hours after application.
